The University of Victoria (British Columbia) came into being on July 1, 1963, but it had a prior tradition as Victoria College with sixty years of distinguished teaching at the University level. These sixty years may be viewed conveniently in three distinct stages.

Tuition and Fees |
|
Full Fee Installment (full time study) : $1,747.00
Half Fee Installment (part-time study) : $873.50
|

Scholarship |
|
The value of the scholarship is equal to 50% of the domestic base tuition for an undergraduate student. For a regular full-time load as of May 1st 2004 this amounts to 50% of 7.5 x $282.60 or $1060.00 per term.
The value of the scholarship for a graduate student is equal to 50% of the domestic base tuition per term up to 5 full term installments at the MA level and up to 7.5 full term installments at the PhD level, for a maximum of two degrees.
