Eastern was established in 1882 as the Benjamin P. Cheney Academy.
Eastern’s mascot is the Eagle. School colors are red (Pantone 186) and white with an accent color of black.

Tuition and Fees
International Students are required to submit a current financial statement (no more than 6 months old) showing personal or family resources to cover the cost of one full year of study at Eastern Washington University, currently $26,506 US (subject to yearly change).
